Flew through Bangkok north to Sukhothai for one night on our way to the Elephant Sanctuary. The Sukhothai airport is quite beautiful. Ann-Kristin found us a magical hotel-Ruean Thai Hotel. It looks hundreds of years old and full of antiques, but in fact, the main hotel is only 10 years old. The pool was lovely, and they had bunnies!
We'll come back for one night after elephants and go see some temples.
