Krabi is interesting, and I like it better than Ko Tao. More city life going on, less stuff dedicated just to the tourist industry. Large Muslim influence here, which you can see in the food, clothing and religious displays.
Yesterday we got in late afternoon, settled in, and headed down to Ao Nang beach to wander and have dinner.
Today was a great day in the water. This was the first day in Thailand that the heat was tolerable, mostly because we spent it in cool water. We went to the Emerald Pool & swam & hiked up through the jungle to the blue pool (swimming not allowed) and then to hot spring pools with a small waterfall into a river. Even though we were in Thailand, it all felt kind of familiar-hiking through lush green forests to swim in beautiful rivers and waterfalls.

there are a few levels of hot tub-like pools. Very warm
It was pretty deep in spots
Many of the trees were labeled in Thai and Latin. We needed Erin to translate.
You can never have too many Jacks!

Maybe we should add Thai language signs when we hike here.
